Military Bunker This bunker is located in the dead center of the city, and is surrounded by the rest of the governments sector. With only a single entrance, the building is almost completely underground, and is heavily defended by turrets and soldiers. The 'President' makes his announcements over the radio from here - and very rarely leaves due to the danger that the outside world poses to him. Defensive Walls Walls have been constructed around the military bunker in a 100 meter radius. These massive concrete blocks prevent almost anyone from entering unless invited - spec ops teams patrol the wall, and helicopters provide air support. Sections of the wall have been breached, though entire squads of marines guard these holes, and prevent the infection from spreading inside the compound. |

Government protected apartments The government apartments are more of an after thought - they were not built inside the walls, and are provided a minimal amount of protection by the marines and soldiers. Although, it is better than living out on the streets - the apartments provide perfect choke points against infected individuals. |

Supply Depot This supply depot was commandeered after the initial blast hit Tantor, the facility is large enough that it could not be relocated. Because of the fact that it is on the edge of government controlled territory, it is HEAVILY armed - and any shipments to the compound are made with massive escorts. |

Streets The empty streets of the government have been cleared of debris - some cars still litter the sidewalks. Frequent military patrols keep the area relatively safe, and many of the other factions will often attempt to abuse the fact that they can temporarily take refuge among the abandoned houses and stores. |

Junkyard Fortress A small group of junkers took up refuge in the junkywards, and constructed a makeshift wall out of metal sheets and concrete. It is only about three meters high, but is able to keep the majority of people and infected out. Some sections of the wall have ramparts that are used by gunners to take out those who stray to close to the wall. The junkers are very wary of outsiders. |

Junkyards Hundreds of potentially useful items are scattered across these debris piles, some of the locations are actually junk piles - but many are caused by some of the large apartment buildings collapsing, or where mass amounts of broken cars were collected to burn. |

Wastes Nothing grows out here, it is all simply broken concrete, rock, and mud. the occasional weapon or vehicle can be found, but most are destroyed from rust and erosion. The odd thing is, no infected are out here either. There isn't a single threat for miles upon miles since very few can make the journey through the wastes - it requires a store of food and water to make it across alive. Some scavengers call this place their home. |

Haven Haven is the Resistances HQ, it is one of the few defended places left in the city. Those who oppose the governments decision to completely militarize everything have made their way here, and have started plans to overthrow the current government - while attempting to restore life to the way it was before the incident. The resistance gets around by using the underground tunnels that were once used for the subway - the concrete terminals are used as the HQ's. There are three in total. Housing complex The majority of the resistances military goes into defending the houses and apartments within their territory, people are able to have their own private homes, rather than a single small room apartment like in the governments territory. This is one of the different bonuses of rebelling. Though, because the forces are spread out, any large scale attack requires a retreat to survive. |

Streets The streets in the resistance controlled area are a mix of safe and hostile. Since the resistance borders the quarantine zone as well as the government, their military can do a good job at patrolling most of the immediate streets around the HQ, but in the streets further out, infected crowds and invasion squads can often be spotted. |

Wastes The wastes of the quarantine zone are directly linked to the scavengers wastes - it is muddy rocky, and filled with destruction. Infected numbers have skyrocketed here, and massive crowds of the infected can be seen wandering aimlessly - seeking out their next victims. |

Streets The streets of the quarantine zone connect to both the resistance and government controlled territory, and the infected can be found in massive numbers here, simply wandering the streets. Living in these areas is almost impossible, but a few individuals have managed to make an isolated existence here. |

Medical Facility This main medical facility is located entirely outside the city, and was constructed just prior to the planet wide incident by a wealthy individual, who had contacts that something was going to be going down - he had the building constructed to serve as an outpost against whatever was to come after the blast, but it turned into a medical facility after he discovered the nature of the weapon that had accidentally been unleashed. |
